Since February 2024, Uplyfted has proudly partnered with Settle, a housing association in Hertfordshire, to provide durable, affordable, and easy-to-install flooring for their homes. Over the past few months, we have successfully installed renewed modular carpets in nearly 20 occupied properties, providing durable and comfortable flooring while minimizing disruption to residents..
Why is it installing modular carpet suitable for occupied properties?
Settle was faced with a common issue: how to provide floor coverings in occupied homes without causing inconvenience to their residents. Traditional carpet installations often require residents to vacate their homes and remove furniture, resulting in considerable disruption. They needed a solution that could be installed with minimal impact on daily life, affordably.
Uplyfted provided Settle with an innovative, hassle-free solution: renewed modular carpets. Unlike traditional carpets, modular carpeting can be installed without the need for residents to vacate their homes or move out their furniture entirely. Our fitters can install the carpet around existing furniture by moving items piece by piece, ensuring a seamless process that causes minimal disruption.
